Rise of the Floodborn, the second set of the Disney Lorcana TCG, begins with a great explosion.
A torrent of the six magical inks bursts from the Great Illuminary in a mixed-up, chaotic form to flood the Inklands below. Glimmers who encounter this mixed ink surge with a power that transforms them into floodborn glimmers. As the ink pours from the Great Illuminary, treasured lore goes with it—including the powerful trident of Disney’s King Triton. Illumineers and glimmers now quest far beyond the damage to track down this lore . . . before it falls into the wrong hands.
Floodborn Highlights:
- Adds characters, items, and actions (including songs) from classic animated films like Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, The Jungle Book, The Great Mouse Detective, and The Rescuers along with newer hit fifilms like Raya and the Last Dragon and Zootopia.
- Welcoming gameplay for casual players, with strategic depth for more competitive play.
- Features new ink combinations for the two starter decks: Amber & Sapphire and Amethyst & Steel.
- Players can add cards to their decks with a new gameplay mechanic: Resist, which reduces damage dealt to a character.
- All cards in this set can be played alongside cards from the debut set of the Disney Lorcana TCG, The First Chapter. They can also be used to update or customize existing Disney Lorcana TCG decks.
