Step beyond your round green door and into the sprawling lands of Middle-earth for the highly anticipated Magic: The Gathering – The Hobbit Prerelease. Whether you are a wizened Planeswalker of many ages, or a freshly hired Burglar drawn by the allure of Erebor’s gold, this is your first opportunity to open, build, and do battle with the newest Universes Beyond set.
Gather your company, crack open your packs, and face down fire-drakes, goblins of the Misty Mountains, and ancient sorcery.

Rules of Engagement: Sealed Deck (Swiss Rounds)

Upon paying your share of the expenses, you shall be entrusted with a sealed The Hobbit Prerelease Pack, containing all the provisions required to forge your deck:

1x Foil Year-Stamped Promo Card: A Rare or Mythic Rare artifact or hero from the set—your precious heirloom.

1x Thematic Spindown Life Counter: To track your vitality as you brave the wilds.

⚔️ THE BATTLE OF FIVE ARMIES

Mustering Your Forces (Deckbuilding - 50 Minutes): You will be given time to unpack your provisions and construct a 40-card minimum deck. Basic lands shall be generously provided by the lords of Pro Hobbies.

The Journey (The Campaign - 3 Rounds): Test your fellowship in three 50-minute rounds of friendly, Swiss-paired skirmishes.
🏔️ SMAUG’S HOARD

Every adventurer who completes the journey receives 1x Bonus The Hobbit Play Booster simply for surviving the road!

Additional Play Boosters shall be awarded based on your valor and victories (e.g., conquer the field at 3-0, and claim a much larger fourteenth share of the hoard!).

Exclusive Pro Hobbies promo cards will be distributed by chance—like sudden luck upon the road—as door prizes throughout the evening.
